VEGAN CAMPING FIELD
at the BIG GREEN GATHERING

2-6 August, Nr Cheddar, Somerset

Website updated June 2006

The Big Green Gathering is the largest green event on the circuit – this year even bigger, with lots of fun to be had, and is a massive green showcase!

See: Big Green Gathering.

Although hitherto, a lot of food in cafés on site has been vegan, this year, for the first time ever, the BGG will include a Vegan Camping Field. This has happened because we’re transferring our Vegan Summer Gathering event to the Big Green Gathering.

For the past 12 years the annual Vegan Summer Gathering has brought together in Exmouth, Sheffield, and more lately Swansea, vegans from across the UK and some from abroad. Re-locating to the Big Green Gathering is a new departure for us and a new development for the Big Green Gathering, so come and take advantage of it by supporting us and making this happen in a beautiful way!

We’ll have a 15-16’ Tipi, an organic bakery Workshop bus, probably some food production workshops and some lovely people in your very own field! You don’t have to be vegan to camp in the field, but we are making it a requirement that everyone on the field is vegan whilst there. We’ll be contributing a couple of speakers to the BGG.

TICKET INFORMATION

If you’ve already got your ticket, or if you book directly with the BGG, then you simply need to tell us that you’d like to stay in the vegan camping field. Please let us know names of everyone coming, including names and ages of any children.

However it will help us with our organising costs if you book via us – we will then get a group discount and will order tickets regularly from the BGG whenever we have enough bookings/cheques. If you want a concessionary ticket you will need to provide us with proof of status which we can pass on to the BGG (see notes on the ticket order form on their website www.big-green-gathering.com). Please make cheques etc out to MALCOLM HORNE (including charges for any children, vehicles, etc) and send to the address below. All bookings will be acknowledged promptly, but there may be a slight delay before we actually send you your ticket.

Booking/Reservation Form

Nearer the time - probably about the middle of July or just after - we’ll be in touch with details about arrangements (including mobile phone contacts etc), and at that stage it will be helpful if you can tell us roughly when you’ll be arriving.

Cancellations: BGG policy is to refund 75% of the ticket price but only if you cancel by the end of June. We can hopefully be more flexible than that, and if it’s not too late may be able to simply transfer your ticket to somebody else with just a small administration charge.
